Learning at Victory Baptist School takes place in a loving, safe environment where qualified educators teach academic and spiritual truths from a Biblical worldview. Our teachers strive to cultivate an environment where each student will desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in his or her walk with the Lord.
Comprehension-based learning with a consistent, Christian emphasis is the foundation of our elementary program. The combination of our teaching methods and curricula fosters the development of critical thinking (giving students the skills to think for themselves and independently solve problems), inspires meaningful participation from the students (facilitating comprehension), and stimulates the application of what is learned (encouraging wisdom and discernment).
The addition of enrichment classes, such as Spanish, computer, physical education, music, library, and art, to the foundational subjects of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science provides rich and varied experiences allowing students to benefit in multiple areas of learning. All classes incorporate STEM activities throughout our curricula as well as additional school-wide monthly STEM Fridays.
We believe in teaching from a biblical perspective since clear teaching of the Bible is the foundation for all other learning. All classes use the King James Bible for daily Bible lessons and Scripture memorization. Weekly chapel time engages and challenges students with a relevant lesson applicable to their lives.
Elementary students enjoy participating in various sports camps. Upper elementary students (4th and 5th) have the opportunity to participate in the GACS Fine Arts competition at the local, state, and national levels.
